How do I store my Delizza products?

Our products are made with fresh dairy cream and sold frozen, so keep them in the freezer until you're just about ready to serve. When kept frozen, they'll stay good until the date printed on the package. Once thawed, they can be kept in the refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours — and don't refreeze.

What allergens do Delizza products contain?

Allergens vary by product. Please refer to the ingredient list on our packaging and our product pages for details.

Does your facility contain peanuts or tree nuts?

Our tub products are produced in a peanut- and tree nut-free environment. However, we do store some individually wrapped products that contain tree nuts in the same freezer. If tree nuts are an allergen concern for you, please keep this in mind.

Are your products gluten free?

Macarons: Our macarons are made without gluten-containing ingredients, but they're produced in a facility that also handles gluten items and aren't certified gluten free. We'd recommend reviewing the full ingredient list on our product page before enjoying.

Gluten Free Mini Cream Puffs & Gluten Free Mini Eclairs: These are made in a dedicated gluten-free certified facility, with additional testing to mitigate contamination. While they do not have a third-party certification logo on the packaging, they are made to a gluten-free standard.

What is the source of starch used in Gluten Free Mini Eclairs and Cream Puffs?

The starch used in our Gluten Free Mini Eclairs and Cream Puffs is derived from maize (corn) and potato.

Are the monoglycerides in your products plant-based?

Yes. The monoglycerides we use are from vegetable sources.

Do your products contain any animal-derived ingredients or enzymes?

Our Mini Eclairs, Mini Cream Puffs, and Mini Chocolate Cream Puffs contain pasteurized cream and eggs. They do not contain any added enzymes.

Do your products contain alcohol?

Our Mini Eclairs, Mini Cream Puffs, and Mini Chocolate Cream Puffs may contain natural vanilla extract, which does include trace alcohol. Vanilla extract makes up less than 1% of the filling or chocolate, resulting in an alcohol content of less than 0.10% in the final product.

Are your products Halal certified?

Our products are not currently Halal certified.

Are your products Kosher certified?

Most Delizza products are Kosher certified. Look for the Kosher certification symbol on the packaging to confirm.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! The recycling symbol can be found on the bottom of the Delizza tub — either in one of the corners or stamped inside the base.

Can I reuse Delizza tubs for other purposes?

Of course! Delizza tubs are made of #5 polypropylene (PP), a food-safe, durable, and recyclable plastic ideal for repurposing. They are perfect for organizing small items like craft supplies, screws, nails, and makeup. They can also be used for food storage, such as storing leftovers, packing lunches, or mixing sauces.

Pro tip: Delizza fans love using our tubs to bring homemade potato salad to BBQs! Just remember to clean the tub first … and bring some eclairs for dessert.

How do I serve these at a party?

Straight from the freezer to the dessert table — that's really all it takes. Arrange them on a platter or let your imagination run wild. Please note that they tend to disappear fast, so you may want to grab one for yourself first.

Can I eat these straight from the freezer?

We know it's tempting, but we recommend thawing Mini Cream Puffs and Eclairs for 30 to 45 minutes at room temperature, or 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator. Good things come to those who wait.

What if I want my Delizza dessert all to myself?

Delizza's desserts are crafted to be shared with friends, family — or savored just by you. We won't tell.

How do I open my Delizza container?

Pull down on the tab marked "Open" to break the seal, then hold the tub steady and pull back the lid. If the lid's being stubborn, a spoon can help pry it open. You can also follow along with our step-by-step video. (We promise, it's super easy.)
